DELIVERY & PICK-UP
The unique cake designs takes a few days to make and can not be made within a day. My cakes go through a deep freeze to take their shape and a defrost stage.
Majority of Sydney metropolitan. We do not deliver to other Australian states at the moment or internationally.
To check if we deliver to your area, please enter your postcode in the first field when you are on a product page.
I, Dante, will be personally delivering the cake(s). For any reason I can not deliver the cake(s), I will arrange an alternative method.
Both parties will agree on a delivery time upon check out, if you know you will not be at the address, please contact Onyx Hive on info@onyxhive.com.au or SMS 0432 246 836 to arrange an alternative address.
Note: Leaving the cake in a safe place is NOT recommended as the cake needs to be refrigerated ASAP. Onyx Hive is not responsible for any person(s) not delivering the product to the original buyer or if the product(s) are missing from the safe place if this has been requested by the customer. The delivery driver will take a picture(s) if the cake is requested to leave in a safe place.
If no one is at the address to receive the product and no prior communication on an alternative delivery request has been made, the delivery driver will make all attempts to contact you. If delivery is unsucessful, an additional delivery fee will be payable once a second delivery arrangement will be made. Alternatively, you can arrange for yourself or someone else to pick up the product during our pick up times.
Note: There are no refunds of the full product purchase price if you refuse to pay for a second delivery charge or refuse to pick up. Please communicate with us on a reasonable solution to deliver your cake.
Yes. You can nominate anyone (friend, family, neighbour, receptionist, colleague etc..) to receive the delivery or to pick up. Please leave their full name in the delivery field on a cake page, if you forget to add the note, please email us at info@onyxhive.com.au or SMS 0432 246 836 with your order number and message.
Note: If you nominate a neighbour, please provide their address. Onyx Hive is not responsible for any person(s) not delivering the product to the original buyer.
No, it’s not too late to change the delivery address if the product is NOT already in transit. Please email us at info@onyxhive.com.au or SMS 0432 246 836 to change your delivery address.
Promo Code Use
- Promo codes can only be used on our website
- One code can be used per order, unless stated otherwise
- Codes can not be used/stacked with an automatic discount to an order
- Can not be exchanged for cash
- If you purchase a product with a code and you're eligible for a refund, we will subtract the value of the promotional code from your refund
- All re-purchase codes, such as a next order purchase code, can only be used once per customer
Onyx Hive reserves the right to modify or cancel any codes at any time, and is not responsible for any codes that have not been used in an order.

Pre-paid Subscription
The Subscription.....
- Payment(s) will convert into store credit once the last payment has been made or when the subscription is cancelled
- Will automatically end when the last payment has been made
- Example: If a 3 months subscription has been selected, no further payments will be deducted on the 4th month.
- Will need to be re-purchased if the subscription is completed or cancelled by the subscriber if you wish to continue
- Not refundable
Subscribers.....
- Will need to sign up for a my account and log in to use their store credits at checkout
- If an account has already been created, no further action needs to be taken
- Can view and/or cancel their subscription via my account
- Understand If an account is not created, any credits, including reward points will be put on hold until an account is created
- Understand the same e-mail used at checkout will need to be the same as the account created
Store Credit.....
- Is given to the equal value of payments made over the months
- Example: If 2 months subscription has been selected at $37.00 monthly payment, if the subscription is cancelled after the first month, $37.00 will be credited into your account.
- Is credited to the same e-mail account the subscription was purchased from
- Do not expire
- Cannot be transferred to another account
Bonus Credit.....
- Is 10% of the final total amount paid
- Example 1: If 2 months subscription has been selected at $37.00 monthly payment, if the subscription is cancelled after the first month, $3.70 bonus credit will be issued into your account.
- Example 2: If 2 months subscription has been selected at $37.00 monthly payment, if the subscription is fully completed, $7.40 bonus credit will be issued into your account.
- Not refundable
- Bonus credit can change or cease at any time without notice
How to Use Store Credits.....
- Log into My Account
- Shop for a cake, add to cart and check out as per normal
- At the check out page, your credit should be visible to use
- Additional charges, such as delivery fees, will need to be paid by another payment source to complete the order
Refunds.....
- Subject to our refunds policy
- If a cake has been purchased and a refund is approved, the refund will be issued back to the original payment type
- Example: If $74.00 was paid via store credit and $10.00 was further paid via card, the $74.00 refund will go back as store credit and $10.00 will be refunded back to the same card.
Discount Codes & Promos.....
- Can be stacked with your store credit
- Codes are subject to T&Cs, please see FAQ for full T&Cs
Rewards Points Program.....
- Subscription purchases are eligible to earn rewards points, where points are converted to a discount code.
- Rewards Points Program subject to T&Cs
Onyx Hive has the right to cancel any subscriptions that doesn't follow or meet our Disclaimer / Terms of Service.
Those services are post-paid purchases where you are buying the product now but paying in installments after the purchase.
This subscription is a pre-paid service, you are paying in monthly installments and the money paid are stored as store credit to purchase a cake in the future within the Onyx Hive website. You are directly liaising with Onyx Hive with your pre-paid subscription and not any other payment platforms such as AfterPay.
We do not charge any fees for any payments being rejected on our end but your bank or payment platform might charge a dishonour fee. We will try take out the funds again soon or that payment may be skipped and continue the next month until you either have funds in the account.
You can change your payment method via My Account when viewing your subscription.
Note: Bank account direct debit is not supported
You can volunteer to cancel the subscription yourself via My Account, any payments made will convert into store credits to use via our website
You can view your credits via My Account > Click your avatar > Click 'Profile'

Gift Cards
The gift cardholder is responsible for maintaining the card and treating the card as monetary. Onyx Hive is not responsible for any gift card codes that have been used on our site without authorisation from the original gift cardholder.
- Gift cards can only be used on our website
- Onyx Hive reserves the right to modify or cancel any codes at any time
- Each gift card and multiple can be used multiple times until the balance reaches $0.00
- Multiple gift cards can be used on a single order
- Gift cards can not purchase other gift cards
- Gift cards can be used for the final order total (including shipping and taxes)
- Gift cards can be used in conjunction with discount codes
- Can not be exchanged for cash, reloaded
- If you purchase a product with a gift card and you're eligible for a refund, the refund will be back to the gift card
The receiver of the gift card, via e-mail, will be the owner of the gift card and they are responsible to use and protect the code given.
The owner, at their discretion, is able to provide the gift card to whomever they wish.
Onyx Hive is not responsible for any gift card codes that have been used on our site without authorisation. This may include, but not limited to; digital hacks or carelessness from the owner if the code is revealed for someone to copy the gift card code.
Onyx Hive can not view the gift card code. Only the owner can see the code.
